While out on vacation with our friends we discovered a game they played with their young grandchild. Everywhere we went they carried around this stuffed Bear. They told us that they gave him to their grand daughter when she was very young, When she got older they took the stuffed bear with them on trips. Everywhere we went we would take pictures and the bear was always in the pictures. At night when they face-timed their granddaughter I watched as her eyes lit up every time she saw that Bear. When they were home they would share together all the pictures they took. The way that this little bear helped our friends connect with their grandchild was just amazing. We wanted this idea to help Grand parents and parents connect and build those close relationships with the children in their lives.

If you really think about life and what is important, it is not the “things” we accumulate its about the love we shared with Family and Friends. The most important thing we do on this earth for the short time we are here is love God and protect and love children.

As Forest Witcraft stated in a Scouting Magazine years ago is still true,
“A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove. But the world may be different, because I was important in the life of a child.”
